The turkeys know just about when to arrive, strutting around the backyard beneath the kitchen window, welcoming November and the end of all that Halloween business.
Whenever I was home back east at my parents house turkey would run around during this time of year! I still have a memory that makes me laugh to this day, when we were outside and a few ran by and my younger sister shouts, "run little turkeys, run"...because she didn't want someone to catch them and eat them on Thanksgiving! She is a funny one!
